Slippery Rock MHP blower and piping replacement.

In 2017, Slippery Rock was placed under an order of consent by NYS DEC. Some of the work required under this order was to replace the main aeration system blower, the holding tank blower and return activated sludge piping. We completed this work and greatly improved plan performance. A modern blower with new controls made an enormous difference. The return sludge piping was also plagued by frequent plugging which was detrimental to operations. The piping was deteriorated greatly as well. A new chlorinator was also installed as a requirement of DEC.
